Hand Drafting
Hand drafting is the most basic type of drafting, and is the first step to understanding CADD. In hand drafting you learn about lettering standards, linetypes, lineweights, orthographic projection, multiview drawings, drafting tools, drawing layouts, dimentioning, and scaling.
Technical Drafting
Technical drafting is drawing objects such as an engine part, a cog for a clock, or just a simple screw. This style includes manual drafting, basic AutoCADD, and then AutoCADD proficiencies. Such as text, layers, dimentions, and plotting (printing).

Architectural Drafting
In the Architectural unit, students learn about working plans sets, property line bearings, traffic flow, residential codes, and city setbacks. Students transfer floorplans, do a small remodel for a virtual client, and design a single story house from scratch.
